Roz has a Diploma in Remedial Massage and is a professional member of Association of Massage Therapists. She has worked within both physiotherapy and chiropractic clinical settings as well as a mobile massage therapist.
Netball, swimming, yoga, pilates and group fitness training are a number of Roz’s interests, as well as natural health, nutrition and wellbeing. Recovering from a number of sports injuries herself has given her a particular interest and understanding in sports injuries and rehabilitation. She also maintains a passion for learning and has undergone a number of specialist courses in different massage techniques, and is currently undergoing a Diploma in Sports Therapy.
Roz takes an holistic approach when working with each client, providing a combination of Sports, Deep Tissue, Trigger Point, Myofascial Release, and Relaxation Massage to best meet the clients needs. Treatment will be specifically tailored to each client with a view to assist in rehabilitation, help prevent injury, maintain healthy muscle tone, and to find a good balance between strength and flexibility. Roz is a firm believer in the body’s ability to heal itself, but understands that sometimes it needs a little help along the way. Her clients are encouraged to take an active role in their ongoing treatment through stretching, making postural adjustments and active relaxation techniques to ensure their return to optimum health.
