Our small group Physio Reformer pilates classes are based on the core strengthening and flexibility principles of Pilates. Using the Reformer, in these classes you will strengthen your abdominals, arms, legs and buttocks while focusing on postural alignment. Additionally the spring resistance of the Reformer provides you with an amazing workout where you will feel all your muscles working to build your stronger core.
Our Physio Reformer Pilates classes (max 8 clients) are taught by experienced physios providing you with expert understanding and experience of injury prevention and rehab. Exercises are designed to be challenging, while also providing appropriate modifications tailored specifically for your unique body and individual needs.
Beginner/Intermediate Physio Reformer Pilates Classes
These classes cater to clients new to Reformer Pilates or those returning after a break. Our focus is on familiarising you with the Reformer and repetoire of exercises while still providing you with a challenging workout. You will be taught efficient breathing and movement while focusing on correct alignment through controlled exercises. As you become confident, you will progress through modifications and harder exercises ensuring you get a great workout and best possible results.
Intermediate/Advanced Physio Reformer Pilates Classes
In these classes you will experience a higher intensity and faster pace routine. If you’re wanting to increase your repetoire of exercise while still maintaining good postural alignment and control, these classes are for you. During this class you will use higher resistance springs and have fewer rest periods. You’ll gain a better body awareness of your weaknesses and necessary corrections to perform exercises with the greatest precision possible. Whilst also gaining a great cardio workout and building strength and burning calories.
