Practice Director of Physio On Miller, Robyn Ivett graduated from the University of South Australia with a Bachelor of Physiotherapy. Commencing her career in a top sports physio clinic in Adelaide, Robyn has a diversity of experience. Early in her career she provided on-field physio for the amateur AFL league in South Australia for several years. In this clinic and on the field Robyn has gained experience in musculoskeletal, sports and post-operative physiotherapy.
Robyn then relocated to Sydney, where she joined Physio On Miller, further advancing her expertise in sports and musculoskeletal physiotherapy. During this time, she also gained valuable experience in pre- and post-natal physiotherapy, broadening her skill set and enhancing her practice. Furthermore Robyn values continued education and has completed her Dry Needling course.
Robyn is a qualified Pilates instructor and trained with the Australian Physiotherapy and Pilates Institute. Additionally as an avid participant she experiences the benefits of core strength, posture and general well-being. Pilates based exercise has kept her body in good health to enjoy many years of running marathons and having two beautiful children. Both are very challenging on the female body!
Having participated in multiple running events including the New York Marathon, Queenstown Marathon and more recently the Sydney 10km, Robyn values the role Pilates has played in helping her achieve these milestones.
Additionally having children has definitely given her a deeper understanding and passion around postnatal care and returning to sport/exercise safely post children. This personal experience has significantly enhanced her ability to treat and support others navigating similar journeys.
Robyn is passionate about helping people. She believes that achieving the best outcomes involves a holistic approach that integrates hands-on physiotherapy and exercise-based rehabilitation.
